Nguyen Than Binh is known for his depictions of ballerinas, dancers, nudes, musicians and schoolgirls in flat colours. Binh uses variations in the form of geometric lines and

subtle colour differences to separate the subject from the background, creating a beauty of minimalism and elegance. The colour palette is mostly soft rich creams, browns

and whites with occasional markings in red and black. The simplicity of his articulation is similar to his own lifestyle, but at the same time infuses his soul into his work,
